Welcome to My Studio
Located in beautiful Eugenia, Ontario, the Carrot House Art Studio is primarily a working studio, with select exhibit times throughout the year. The studio is always open to scheduled visits. (sorry, no drop ins!)
Having a dedicated space to create concepts and play with paint is my dream come true. Follow me on social media to see what’s on the easel, and find out about upcoming projects and events.
While always having had a keen interest in general arts, my current focus is on capturing nature in its literal forms, or promoting botanical spirit through a more contemporary adaptation. The paint medium I work in most often is acrylic, which allows me to freely immerse myself in the application of colour and style (with a manageable drying time!).
I wake up each day with a flood of ideas to explore, and endless opportunities to showcase the beauty of the natural world around us. My primary focus is botanical subjects, with a definite slant toward an impressionist representation.
I hope you’ll join me on this journey!
Sincerely, Carolyn

Carrot House Studio is pleased to support the Collingwood Youth Centre, a safe space to socialize with friends and mentors where you will feel included and welcome. The Collingwood Youth Centre is for youth ages 12-18 to meet in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.
If you are visiting the studio for the upcoming Art Map Tour on the weekend of Sept 25-26th, I encourage you to bring along donation for the Collingwood Youth Center which would assist in providing the valuable services that they do for youth in our community.
Consider a non-perishable food item, or you desire to make a cash donation, a cheque can be made out to the Collingwood Youth Centre. Financial contributions would be used for feeding youth that visit the centre.
